Summary
The video database "Revolution TV" (working title) is an Internet database of activist and independent art films. The database offers a searchable archive of short films, trailers, documentaries and movies. It contains links to downloads on the net as well as to the own file archive. Contributors can upload video files to the database server. The Revolution TV collective organises screenings and offers CD collections to promote the database.

- Create exchange between activists and artists from eastern and western europe
- Promote freedom of speech and participatory media
- Spread information that is not covered by the mainstream media

Launching the site
To make sure that we have a good collection of videos already for the launch we ask video activists and artists to submit their movies to us. Steps:

Costs
We try to find a balance between sustainable thinking and low budget. Every spending will be well thought about beforehand.

Sources of income
Apart from voluntary work there are some fixed costs that we need to cover. In order to gain financial independence we are using the following tools:
- Public screenings and film festivals with low price tickets plus donation
- Sale (mail order and on-site) of CDs and DVDs with special collections of videos for a price covering the costs plus donation
- Technical consulting for NGOs or projects with funding
